About the Session
This interactive session immerses participants in a realistic, scenario-based learning experience designed to strengthen safety leadership in dynamic work environments. Through a structured “day-in-the-life” format, participants practice key supervisory skills including pre-shift planning, hazard awareness, communication under pressure, and decision-making in high-risk situations. The session emphasizes proactive risk prevention, worker competency, and the importance of clear communication, while also reinforcing legal and safety responsibilities such as hazard identification, documentation, and responding to worker concerns. By integrating reflection and reset practices, the workshop highlights how effective supervisors continuously adapt, learn, and model safety-focused behaviours to create safer, more resilient teams.
