Safe by Design: Production Safety Fundamentals for SPFX Gimbals

  • Anvil centre 777 Columbia Street New Westminster, BC, V3M 1B6 Canada (map)

About the Session

SPFX gimbals offer a practical way to achieve dynamic, high-impact shots, but they also introduce complex safety risks that can bring your set to a halt. This presentation provides a production-focused framework for gimbal rig safety, from design through wrap, with an emphasis on communication, verification, and cross-department considerations. Attendees will leave with a stronger understanding of pre-production planning, on-set supervision, and managing last-minute changes in ways that support both creative ambition and uncompromising safety.

* This session is available exclusively to in-person attendees. It will not be recorded for virtual participants or for later viewing.
