Driving Safety: Connecting Culture and Compliance in Transportation

  • Anvil centre 777 Columbia Street New Westminster, BC, V3M 1B6 Canada (map)

About the session

Awareness of the weight and scale that transportation has on a safe production, the signals that come from not only the transport department but also anyone driving on production, the relationship between careless L&D's as indicators of more significant safety issues, linking data and research from my regulatory days in the correlation of minor incidents and serious/fatal incidents.

This session will focus on the impact of culture as compliance in this very legacy-entrenched industry. A mix of facts/science in a people-centric story that provides a fresh perspective and an improved appreciation for this impactful side of physical production.

* This session is available exclusively to in-person attendees. It will not be recorded for virtual participants or for later viewing.
