About the session

This session will explore the practical skills needed to effectively respond to and safely manage a full continuum of public behaviours, from low-level agitation, and verbal abuse through to escalated behaviours, threats, and acts of violence.

Flora Karabotsos has completed the ARETE Trainer’s Intensive Certification program and is qualified to facilitate ARETE’s OnSide™ Workplace  Bullying and Harassment Prevention and Service to Safety™ | Workplace Violence Prevention & De‑escalation programs.

She has facilitated ARETE workshops and webinars across a wide range of industries, including universities, colleges, hospitality, energy, maintenance, and municipal governments.

A professional actor with a B.A. in Psychology, Flora combines her performance expertise and behavioural insights to passionately deliver ARETE’s proven effective, highly interactive, and always engaging training programs. She is committed to creating safe, dynamic learning environments where participants feel heard and involved.
