Concurrent Disorders Counsellor, Construction Industry Rehabilitation Plan
Heather Scott is an experienced Concurrent Disorders Clinician currently practicing with the Construction Industry Rehab Plan, where she works with unionized members of the BC Building trades, and their families, providing individual and group mental health and substance use therapy. Heather has a passion for holistic growth and preventative practice, and currently facilitates mental health and harm-reduction workshops within the construction community. Heather began her career in mental health over a decade ago, and in that time has worked with some of the most marginalized folks in North American in the Downtown Eastside, with the Provincial Health Authority, and within BC Corrections. Heather holds a Master of Counselling Psychology degree from Adler University and Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology and Philosophy from Simon Fraser University and the University of Victoria. She has spent time living in Australia and on Vancouver Island, and is proud to be a true ‘Vancouverite’, born and raised.
