Before and After a Workplace Injury


Do you struggle with navigating regulations, insurance, forms and processes in relation to workplace injuries? This session will benefit employers, supervisors, human resources and safety professionals as well as committee members by identifying what needs to happen after an injury or incident occurs at your workplace. Conference participants will first be walked through a theoretical first aid assessment, then shown the process that is required following a workplace injury. Understand the requirements for first aid reporting, immediate notifications to WorkSafeBC, incident investigation (preliminary and full) as well as claims management forms and processes.
