Jenny Colman

Jenny earned her BSc.in ergonomics / human factors (HFE) at Loughborough University, UK where she specialized in forensic and system ergonomics. This background led to an 11 year opportunity in WorkSafeBC’s fatal and serious injury investigation division. During that time, she earned her Masters of Science degree in Human Factors and System Safety at Lund University, Sweden.

She is currently working with the Risk Analysis Unit at WorkSafeBC. In her current role she assists the process safety team in exploring various risks through a practical risk assessment methodology.

Jenny is a Canadian Registered Safety Profession (CRSP). She is also the past president) of the BC/YK Association of Canadian Ergonomists (ACE) to promote the professional value of ergonomics / human factors.
